Årets siste måned var i stor grad en positiv måned sett med en investors øyne. De aller fleste markedene leverte positiv avkastning, og Oslo Børs hadde sin tredje beste måned for hele året med en oppgang over 4 %, til tross for fallende olje­pris. Et par av teknologigigantene i USA opplevde en litt svakere avslutning på året, men mange av de har tross alt levert 50-70 % avkastning gjennom året.
